Fresh from a local estate, and sold uncleaned and unpolished, just as-found.
Wonderfully crude sheared lip with a substantial applied string band collar and many interior bubbles (the largest measuring 15/16" across).
This bottle measures 11.25" tall, and 24.5" around.
I have come across quite a few antique bottles over the years, but I am not an expert. I have seen many demijohn bottles, but nothing like this beauty.
Displays beautifully, and in wonderful condition. Roughness at lip, as shown in large close-up pics. Absolutely no other chips, nicks, cracks, bruises, or hairlines, and NO REPAIRS!
