PONTILED AMBER DIP MOLD BLOWN SQUARE UTILITY BOTTLE CRUDE FLARED LIP BUBBLES

Description

A crude pontiled square dip mold blown utility bottle with crude applied flared wide mouth lip.....no embossing.
Hand blown with no mold seams......rough glass pontil scar on bottom.....orange amber....square with beveled corners (actually fat rect..3"x2 1/4")....8 1/2"tall.....Excellent condition with no chips or damage. An open bubble on inside surface. Some light haze inside. Old wear on bottom. Crudely blown bottle leans slightly to one side. Lots of bubbles inside the glass. I believe this bottle was made in the 1800s...but not sure if it is American made or perhaps European? It is a very rare form and color!
